ECIJA integrates the legal boutique Comter to strengthen its Governance, Risk & Compliance area.

The boutique, led by its partners Juan Eugenio Tordesillas and Sergio Otero, is integrated in ECIJA to reinforce a key area in the growth of the Firm, which already counts with 3 partners and 8 professionals.

In the framework of its growth strategy, and after its last openings in Valencia and Lisbon, ECIJA has reached an agreement for the integration in the Madrid office of the boutique dedicated to regulatory compliance Comter Compliance, with the aim of strengthening its area of GR&C (Government, Risk and Compliance), one of the Firm lines of the Firm reference practice areas and with the highest growth in recent years.

Juan Eugenio Tordesillas and Sergio Otero, partners of Comter Compliance, join ECIJA’s team to reinforce, respectively, the Corporate Compliance and Prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing practices. Both professionals, after their careers in different law firms, are now integrated in ECIJA with the aim of responding to ECIJA’s clients in the increasingly demanded advisory, auditing and consulting services in GR & C.
