ECIJA nominated as best law firm in IP / IT / DP and most innovative firm in the Expansion Awards.

Expansion organizes the First Edition of the Expansion Awards for Excellence in Business Law with Lefebvre – El Derecho, Santander Bank, IE and Signium as main sponsors.

The firm was also selected in the category of best lawyer with the nomination of Hugo Écija, and among the best firms in the following categories:

• Best IP / IT / Data Protection Law Firm. The technical team that has reviewed the nominations has taken into account not only the volume of transactions, but also its importance and weight in the sector, as well as the complexity of the matters discussed and defending the interests of their clients not only on national territory, but also before international organizations, selecting ECIJA among the top 5 firms in this category.

• Most innovative law firm. The criteria taken into account for this recognition has been the creation of new legal services, innovation in the existing practice areas, design and implementation of corporate strategies, advanced management techniques, the structure of the office, the operation of external procedures, selection and human resources processes, marketing and internationalization strategies and pro bono activities.

The winners will be announced at the gala to be held in the Teatro Real in Madrid on 23 June.
