Cristina Llop, partner at ECIJA, selected Counselor of the General Council of Spanish Law.

The Plenary session of the General Council of Spanish Law chose last Friday eleven elective  new counselors, among which figure Cristina Llop, partner at ECIJA.

The elections took place during the meeting of the Plenary session of the General Council celebrated on Friday 23rd of February. The General Council of Spanish Law relies on twelve elective counselors, who must be attorneys of renowned prestige, democratically elected by the Plenary session of the Council, and whose mandate will last for five years. Along with the President Ms. Victoria Ortega, the 83 deans of the Bar associations, the presidents of the Autonomic Councils, with voice but no vote, and the President of Spanish Confederation of Young Lawyers,  make up the Plenary session of the General Council of Spanish Law.

According to Cristina Llop “after two years at the head of the Spanish Federation of Young lawyers, it is a pride for me to continue working and defending the interests of our sector and especially of the young attorneys, now from the General Council of the Spanish Law “.
