Lisbon-based firm Antas da Cunha ECIJA has recruited Alexandra Mota Gomes as partner from PLMJ, to head the newly created criminal law, misdemeanor and compliance area.
Alexandra Mota Gomes joins from PLMJ, where she was a partner since 2016. She has over 20 years of experience, with a focus on organized crime, economic crime, and white-collar crime, particularly on preventing corruption, money laundering, and terrorist financing. She also holds a high level of expertise in administrative offences, particularly in the context of banking, capital markets, pharmaceuticals, the environment, civil construction, energy, telecoms, advertising and economics.
