Hugo Ecija, managing partner at ECIJA, has been selected again for sixth year in a row, as one of the best lawyers in Media and Intellectual Property law, by the prestigious American ranking Best Lawyers in its 2013 edition, whose results were published last week in Expansion.

This year results have been excellent for the firm, ECIJA has doubled its number of lawyers in the directory. In this new edition ECIJA lawyers have been ranked in 3 new areas: Corporate/M&A; Privacy and Data Protection; Litigation; and have also collected new nominations in the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecoms law) and Intellectual Property areas.

Carlos Perez, ​​partner and co-Head of Information Technology at ECIJA, has been highlighted this year amongst the best lawyers in Data Protection and Privacy in Spain, and for second year in a row, has been named among the best in Information Technology law in the Spanish market, together with Alejandro Touriño, partner and co-Head of Information Technology at ECIJA.
