‘Spanish Golden Visa for Investors’

Last Saturday, September 28th. the law introducing the Spanish Golden Visa has been finally published in the Spanish Official Gazette and it has entered into force.
The final text of the law has not been amended with respect to the initial draft and no changes are expected anymore.
It is hoped now that the government would develop soon the regulation of the law that should clarify certain grey points of the law as well as implement the specific application form and the instructions for the Spanish consulates which shall receive the applications.
In the meanwhile however the non EU citizens who carry out an investment in Spain in accordance with the law’s requirements are already fully entitled to be beneficiary of the new permit.
