Stella Raventos-Calvo joins ECIJA as Tax Partner
With more than 25 years in advising in tax matters to multi-nationals established in Spain and Spanish companies with interests abroad and investment funds, Stella Raventos-Calvo is one of the top specialists in Spain in International Tax law.
In ECIJA she will work together with Mariano Gomariz, Trinidad Bravo and Jozef Jansen in Barcelona, and Gorka Vellé in Madrid, in matters related to taxation of companies and institutional and private investors.. Career path
Stella Raventos-Calvo has been first Vice-president of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisers, whose International Committee she coordinates currently. She chairs, in addition, within the Confédération Fiscale Europeénne (CFE), a working group, comprised of some of the most renowned specialists from each country, dedicated to the study of the case-law in the direct tax field of the EU Court of Justice. Prior to joining ECIJA she was partner of tax law at Vila Abelló Raventós & Asociados, and more recently at Balaguer, Morera & Asociados. She is a lawyer (she read Law at Universidad de Barcelona) and BA in Modern History by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Throughout her career, Stella Raventos-Calvo has combined her professional activity with lecturing in numerous Spanish and European institutions renowned internationally. Author of specialized articles in magazines in tax matters, she is a regular speaker in conferences in Spain and abroad.
