Carmen, partner at ECIJA, combines her professional activity in the Madrid and Canary Islands offices of ECIJA, being the director of the ECIJA Tenerife office. She has more than twelve years of experience in tax and commercial advice to companies, in negotiations with the Tax Agency, tax management, as well as in corporate restructuring operations, and she is specialised in entertainment taxation.
She has extensive experience in the implementation of tax incentives and in the preparation of tax structures, advising numerous entertainment companies located in Spain and, in particular, the main production companies. She is a regular speaker at conferences and lectures on the taxation of tax incentives and the structuring of Economic Interest Groupings.
She has participated as author of the chapter dedicated to the taxation of new technologies in Francis Lefebvre’s practical memento “Derecho de Nuevas Tecnologías”.
She holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has also completed the Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy and Taxation at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF), the Master’s Degree in Business Consultancy at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF) and the Executive MBA at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF).
