Jordi Bonet Agustí
Jordi is a partner at the Sustainability and Environmental and Corporate/M&A areas of ECIJA. He has more than 25-years’ experience as a specialised lawyer and national and international client advisor in the field of real estate and land planning, land use, activity development and establishment and modification of infrastructures.
Jordi leads urban and territorial planning projects for implementing and defending land usage, and the management and urban development of various activities, works and uses. He assists on projects from other fields that are subject to public action and affect land usage, especially with regard to the environment, roadway and railway infrastructures, leisure ports and mines. He also helps prepare and review projects for repairing and zoning activities and works on rural land.
Bonet has experience in licensing, filing certificates and statements of compliance, sanctions proceedings, and re-certification of properties.
He was a member of the Committee of Experts that prepared the ‘Report on the review of the Catalan territorial organisation model’ and has held office as a representative of the Governing Board of the Barcelona Bar Association.
Jordi’s team is currently advising owners affected by the recent resolution of the Catalan Territory Commission on the Master Plan for unsustainable coastal uses.
