Christian is a partner at ECIJA Ecuador in the areas of intellectual and industrial property, audiovisual law, and privacy and data protection. He has over seven-years’ experience in new technology law, e-governance, cybersecurity and personal data protection. He has also served as an advisor to the Ecuadorian Government and to national and international companies on new technologies.
He has led governance projects on information and personal data protection for government entities and private companies.
He holds an LLB in Law (Licentiatura en Derecho) from the University of the Americas, an MA in Cybersecurity Law and the Digital Environment from the University of León and a Diploma in the Human Right to Privacy and Data Protection from the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights. Christian is a member of the Ecuadoran Cybersecurity Association (AECI) and of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Network. He speaks English and Spanish.
