Michael Veintimilla
Michael is a partner of ECIJA Ecuador in the areas of EU Law and Competition Law and Corporate/ M&A, Compliance and Intellectual and Industrial Property and Audiovisual Law. Specialised in advising on corporate and competition matters in Ecuador, his practice includes providing commercial and civil advice.
A competition law advisor to domestic and foreign companies in Ecuador, he offers corporate, contractual and commercial advisory services to clients in the oil industry.
Michael is a lawyer with a PhD in Jurisprudence from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, and he holds an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow in the UK and an LLM in European Competition Law and International Economic Law from the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
He has a postgraduate degree in Competition Law from King’s College, and is an arbitrator of the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of the Quito Chamber of Commerce. Michael serves on the board of the Spanish Chamber of Industries and Commerce.
