The course opportunities in the tourism sector as an engine for regional development is a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) focusing on business opportunities for SMEs and Entrepreneurs in tourism. Business transformation and adaptation to the tourism sector demands. International standards for tourism. Cooperation with local, national and international initiatives. Skills to improve marketing. Online tools for customer retention, promotion and enhancement of corporate image. Best practices in the tourism sector.

Objectives:

– Get to know the importance of tourism as a means of generating wealth and employment in the Region of Tarapacá.

– Provide the necessary knowledge to sector entrepreneurs to develop their business idea.

– Identify the tools available to develop business based on the opportunities offered by tourism in the Region of Tarapacá.

– Disseminate best international practices in the tourism sector with applicability in the Tarapacá Region.

Audience:

The course is intended for citizens, professionals and anyone interested in starting in the tourism sector or adapting / improving their services / products to tourists.
