ECIJA consolidates its position among the Top 10 Law Firms in Spain
The legal supplement Expansion (Financial Times partner in Spain) published yesterday its annual ranking of law firms in Spain. The 2011 Ranking emphasizes the exceptional positioning of ECIJA, which consolidates its position between Top 10 of the Spanish law firms being chosen in position 7 on the national law firms.
After an exhaustive assessment of the main law firms in the Spanish market, Expansion announces, for second year in a row, a generalized decrease in turnover in the legal sector. Nevertheless, while ‘the reduction of the economic activity is having an effect on the business law firms that operate in Spain, they are growing less every time, […] and it is not foreseen that the tendency is going to change in the near future’, according to Expansion.
ECIJA continues strengthened its leadership as the firm of reference in the Spanish market in the TMT (Technology, Means and Telecommunications) undergoing an increase of 23.08%, in its turnover, above the sector average. The consolidation of ECIJA office in Barcelona, during year 2010, with the incorporation at the beginning of year of Xavier Muñoz, as new partner and Head of the IT & Telecoms practices in Barcelona, and later in the year with the entrance of Gabriel Nadal, as ECIJA managing-partner in Barcelona, along with his team, has contributed of decisive way to reinforce these results.
ECIJA stands at the 14 position of the table including foreign law firms and Auditing companies.
