Magdalena Bertram
Magdalena is a partner in the Corporate/M&A and ECIJA Banking and Financial Law practice areas. She has more than 20-years’ experience providing advice on both national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, mainly in the industrial and energy sectors, and in Private Equity operations. She also provides advice on corporate law, structural changes and commercial contracting in general.
Magdalena has extensive experience advising on banking law, both in financing and refinancing transactions and in banking contracts and in regulatory matters in the field of banking and financial law.
She has experience advising investors on renewable energy projects, and in sales and purchases of operational renewable energy plants.
Before joining ECIJA, she was a partner at the Jiménez de Parga Firm and previously a lawyer in prestigious Spanish, German and Anglo-Saxon offices.
She holds an LLB in Law (Licentiatura en Derecho) from San Pablo CEU University of Madrid with a legal and business speciality, is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and actively collaborates with the German Chamber of Commerce.
Magdalena speaks German, English and French.
