Paul Handal
Paul Handal is the partner leading the ECIJA TECH area, the digital transformation consulting services for legal departments at ECIJA, from where he has led the most relevant digital transformation projects in recent years in Spain and Latin America.
Paul has successfully led projects for his clients in the implementation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, management of legal entities, litigation, legal matters, automation systems through artificial intelligence, among others; having been awarded several of his clients’ projects as the most innovative in Spain and Europe.
Paul Handal is recognised in the highest Band 1 category by the prestigious global publisher Chambers and Partners for digital transformation services in the legal industry.
He is also mentioned as one of the most innovative lawyers in Europe by the Financial Times.
He is a professor of Legaltech at IE Law School and the University of Navarra. He also serves as co-director of the UV Legaltech Lab at the University of Valencia and is an advisor to the Global Legaltech Hub.
