Javier Babativa
Javier Babativa is a Partner at ECIJA Advisory and the Founder of ATA Consulting, a firm now integrated with the ECIJA Group. He has over 16 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance, advising companies in sectors such as banking and finance, retail, technology, construction, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and professional services, among others.
For over 10 years, he served as Founding Partner and Director of ATA Consulting, making the firm a key player in accounting outsourcing, tax consulting, and statutory audit services. His leadership enabled the implementation of innovative technological solutions for financial optimization and regulatory compliance for clients.
Javier is a Certified Public Accountant, he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a University in Spain and has solid background in global firms such as Ernst & Young and Baker Tilly, where he developed a strategic approach in relation with tax management, auditing under international standards (IFRS and ISA), and financial transformation for SMEs and mid-sized companies.
Javier is fluent in Spanish and English and has extensive experience providing financial advisory services to companies with operations in Colombia and abroad.
