Aldo is a lawyer with over 25 years of experience in corporate and M&A matters. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Legal Counseling (LLM) from IE Law School in Madrid.
He has extensive experience advising companies across various sectors, including consumer goods, retail, banking, food services, agribusiness, and cement, among others.
Aldo was a partner at Ontier Peru in the same practice area, where he developed a strong portfolio of national and international clients, as well as the firm’s business plan, driving both its organic and inorganic growth.
He is also a university professor in both undergraduate and master’s programs in Business Law at the University of Lima, a position he has held for the past eight years.
Aldo has been recognized by leading legal directories such as Legal 500, Leaders League, and Latin Lawyer.
Regarding his professional background, Aldo served as Corporate and M&A Partner at Ontier for nearly five years, developing a key portfolio of clients. At Grupo Gloria, he was Corporate Legal Manager for LATAM for approximately nine years. Notable transactions during his tenure include the acquisition of 51% of Sociedad Boliviana de Cemento (SOBOCE) for USD 305M, the acquisition of 100% of Grupo California in Colombia for USD 70M, and the sale of 100% of Ingenio Azucarero San Isidro in Salta, Argentina. He also worked at Banco de Crédito del Perú as a senior associate for three years, focusing on legal advisory and banking contracts.
