Luis Peschiera

Luis Peschiera holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago Law School. He has taught Commercial Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Luis Peschiera is a partner in the Real Estate, Finance, and Corporate Law practice areas, with over 25 years of experience advising both national and international companies.

He has participated in some of the most emblematic financing and infrastructure projects in Peru’s history, providing expert legal advice on corporate, contractual, and real estate matters.

Throughout his career, he has advised clients on obtaining permits and rights for the development of investment projects in key sectors such as electricity, hydrocarbons, and mining. He also has extensive experience in infrastructure projects, including legal and technical analysis of affected properties, land negotiation and acquisition, and the granting of easement rights. In the financial sector, he has advised major institutions on corporate and project financing transactions, conducting legal due diligence for lenders involved in key transactions within the Peruvian economy.

Before joining the firm, Luis worked at several renowned law firms and international organizations, including Benites, Mercado & Ugaz, Thelen Reid & Priest in Washington D.C., the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), Davenport Lyons in London, Delmar Ugarte, Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, Crovetto Peschiera, and Peschiera Abogados.
