María Sanz
María Sanz, a lawyer with over 15 years of experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law for both individuals and legal entities, is a partner in the Commercial and Civil Law department at ECIJA Barcelona. Sanz has an outstanding track record in handling second chance proceedings and bankruptcy cases, both from the perspective of the petitioning lawyer and as a Bankruptcy Administrator, as well as in representing creditors in insolvency proceedings.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona (UB) and has completed Master’s studies in Legal Practice and International Law (ISDE), as well as in Bankruptcy Law (ICAB). She has served as a professor at the Legal Clinic (Pompeu Fabra University) and as an adjunct professor at the Center for Financial Studies (CEF) and the Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE), teaching courses in Bankruptcy Law.
