Ignacio Díaz De Aguilar
Ignacio is a partner in the Corporate/M&A and Real Estate areas at ECIJA Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
He has been an advisor to the Canary Islands Government in the creation of the Canary Islands Special Economic Zone (ZEC), in the reform of the Autonomous Region Charter of the Canary Islands, and in the Canary Islands Tourism Renewal and Modernisation Act [Ley de Renovación y Modernización Turística]. He is in charge of preparing the Gran Canarias Territorial Tourism Plan and other planning instruments.
He holds an LLB in Law (Licentiatura en Derecho) from Madrid Autonomous University and a post-graduate degree in Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
