Miguel Sánchez
Miguel Sánchez, an ECIJA partner in its Capital Markets practice area, has more than 14-years’ professional practice specialised in the securities market, corporate governance and M&A. After more than ten years at Ramón and Cajal, he has extensive experience advising listed and unlisted companies in different sectors of activity (financial institutions, energy, real estate, agri-food and biomedical companies, among others), and leading investment banks, on domestic and international securities market transactions, both in regulated and unregulated markets.
The securities market transactions he has successfully carried out include initial public offerings (IPOs), takeover bids in domestic and international markets, public offers of sale (OPV) and subscription (OPS) under the supervision of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), issues of all manner of debt securities (such as high-yield bonds and green bonds), and admissions to securities trading on the Spanish Stock Exchange, the BME Growth Market and the Alternative Fixed-Income Market (MARF).
He has been recognised as a “Rising Star” by the international directory IFLR1000, and positioned on the Transactional Track Record (TTR) platform as one of the business lawyers with the highest number and total amount of transactions.
Miguel holds an LLB in Law (Licentiatura en Derecho) from Madrid Autonomous University, is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and speaks Spanish, French and English.
