BIO
Cristina Villasante
Cristina Villasante is a partner at the intellectual, industrial and audiovisual property area of ECIJA and has more than 10-years’ experience in intellectual property, technological contracting, digital services and information technologies.
She has participated in digital transformation projects in companies in all economic sectors and is an expert in negotiating and preparing contracts and software licences, and in implementing systems and infrastructures and operating them. She has extensive experience in managing the intangible assets of companies and managing information.
Villasante joined ECIJA in 2018, after working at firms such as Eversheds, PwC and Accenture.
She is Head of the Legal Innovation Centre at Camilo José Cela University and Deputy Chair of the Spanish Association of Entertainment Law (Denae). She is also the department chair of the Intellectual Property Master’s programme at the Catholic Institute of Business Administration (ICADE).
Cristina is an occasional speaker in specialised forums and business schools such as The Valley, IE and the Blockchain Intelligence Law Institute.
She holds an LLB in Law (Licentiatura en Derecho) from Madrid Autonomous University, Cristina holds an MA in Intellectual Property Law from Comillas Pontifical University.
He speaks Spanish and English.
