Elena Ordúñez
Elena is a partner in ECIJA’s Intellectual and Industrial Property and Audiovisual Law areas.
She holds an LLB in Law (Licentiatura en Derecho) from the Autonomous University of Madrid, has more than 15-years’ experience providing comprehensive legal advice in the field of Intellectual Property and Entertainment and Digital Platform Law, with a special emphasis on the audiovisual and publishing sectors.
Elena has extensive experience in advising on audiovisual productions and her experience in judicial defence of copyrights matters, illegitimate interference in the right to honour, privacy and self image, trademark infringements and unfair competition, among others.
Her clients include management companies, publishers, audiovisual production companies and national and international public bodies. Before joining ECIJA, she worked at Pons IP, where she was the director of her Legal Affairs, and at Auren, where she worked on the intellectual property and entertainment law team. At the academic level, Elena is a regular lecturer at various universities and business schools and at the MA in Representation and Management of Artists and Athletes programme of the Advanced Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE).
Elena speaks Spanish and English.
