Gorka Goenechea
Gorka Goenechea is a partner at the Litigation & Arbitration areas at ECIJA in Barcelona, he leads complex lawsuits, both court proceedings and arbitration proceedings in sectors such as construction, corporate, succession or financial litigation.
Goenechea holds an LLB in Law from the University of Navarra (1996) and a Business Law Master by the same university in 2001. He is a Doctor in Law (Cum Laude) by the University of Navarra (2019).
He has extensive experience in lawsuits related to arbitration, especially in claims for annulment of awards, declining arbitration and enforcement of awards.
He is also an arbitrator for different arbitration institutions and has participated in various proceedings before CIMA, CEA, TAB, etc.
Gorka Goenechea is an associate professor in Corporate Law and Arbitration at the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU since 2021.
Goenechea speaks Spanish and English.
