Josep Borràs
Borràs, lawyer and economist, is a partner in the tax area of ECIJA in Barcelona, as well as a Tax Inspector on voluntary leave.
In the Tax Agency he has held, among others, the positions of Customs and Special Tax Inspector in the Customs Administrations of Bilbao and Barcelona as well as Treasury Administrator in the Special Treasury Delegation of Catalonia.
Founding partner of renowned firms, he is an expert in preventive tax advice, assistance and defense against tax inspections and presentation of appeals in economic-administrative and contentious-administrative channels, as well as having successfully intervened in financial restructuring processes, commercial transactions and investment projects.
Borràs has given courses and seminars and participated as a speaker at the Economists’ Conference.
He graduated in Law from Universidad Abad Oliva and in Economics and Business Sciences from Universidad de Barcelona.
