ECIJA incorporates Jesús Estévez to strengthen its banking and financial law practice

In the path of growth marked by the firm, ECIJA reinforces its banking and financial law practice with the signing of Jesús Estévez, who joins the firm together with his team as a partner.

ECIJA’s new partner has extensive international experience in finance, banking, restructuring and project finance law, including corporate and asset financing, as well as restructurings and refinancings. In addition, he has an outstanding specialization in structured asset finance transactions and has significant experience in sectors such as audiovisual, transportation, energy and technology.

With more than two decades of experience, Jesús has advised on more than 100 complex transactions valued at over 15 billion euros, working with national and international financial institutions, as well as large corporations, obtaining recognition in Chambers & Partners Europe as a leader in his practice area.

A graduate in Law from the University of Vigo, with an extraordinary award and a master’s degree in International Banking and Finance Law from the London School of Economics (LSE) as a postgraduate scholar of the Barrié de la Maza Foundation, Jesús has developed his career in leading national and international law firms.
