100 years of the American Bar Association in the UK

Participation of our partner Joaquín Rodríguez at the 2024 ABA ILS Fall Conference “100 years of the ABA in the UK”. The conference was hosted at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, where colleagues from all over discussed innovation and tradition in law and law practice, in areas such as corporate transactions.

The event was privileged with two mayor highlights,

i) the opportunity to see the “carta magna” issued in 1215 as the first document to put into writing that the King and his government was not above the law, and

ii) a closing reception at Winfield House, residence of Ambassador of the USA to the UK Ms. Jane Hartley, who hosted the reception and welcome Mr. Richard Hermer, UK Attorney General.
