ECIJA Breaks €90M in 2023 Global Revenue

Spanish law firm ECIJA brought in €91,750,055 in revenue in the 2023 fiscal year, up 10% from the year prior, according to financial data provided to Law.com International.

€47.44 million of the firm’s billings came from Spain, meaning nearly half of ECIJA’s global revenue in 2023 came from international markets, where the firm is present in Portugal and fifteen Latin American countries.

Of ECIJA’s total 2023 revenue, 35% was derived from its flagship technology, media and telecommunications practice area.

The Spanish law firm has benefited from its strategic alliance with U.K.-based Taylor Wessing, formed in March of last year. ECIJA has brought in clients such as Lufthansa, Spotify, and Amazon through the alliance, a spokesperson for ECIJA told Law.com International. The firm currently advises 26 of the 35 Spanish listed companies on the IBEX35.

ECIJA is on a mission to reach €150 million in revenue in the coming years by hiring new partners, opening new offices and starting new services. The firm has grown its workforce by more than 20% over the past three years, according to the spokesperson, and opened an office in Uruguay and advisory services in Mexico in 2023.
