Jesús Yáñez, partner of ECIJA, awarded as the Best IT Lawyer in the Spanish market in the Client Choice Awards.

The award ceremony took place in London on February 1st.

Jesús Yáñez, IT and Privacy partner of ECIJA, received last Thursday in the British capital the award as “Best IT lawyer in the Spanish market” granted annually by the legal publication International Law Office, in collaboration with Lexology.

The importance of this award is the fact that the clients choose the firms and lawyers that stand out above the rest thanks to two essential factors: quality of service and customer service. The selection of the winners takes place each year among lawyers from more than 800 law firms located in 50 countries and highlights those professionals who have offered their clients the greatest added value when providing their services.

Among the criteria that has been taken into account when granting this award, include: quality of legal advice, business knowledge, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, billing transparency, custom rate structures, responsiveness, project management, use of technology, loyalty and ethics.

Jesús Yáñez, partner of the Firm since 2016, also received last December recognition as the “Best Legal Expert in Compliance in Spain”, by the British publication Best Lawyers. With more than fifteen years of experience, Yáñez has led in recent years important consulting and legal advice projects with international vocation to large accounts in terms of computer security, regulatory compliance and new technologies.
