With this movement, the Firm strengthens its presence in Latin America as the largest Spanish firm in the region.

ECIJA reinforces its offices in Brazil and Costa Rica by adding six new partners specialized in the areas of TMT – Technology, Media and Telecommunications – Corporate/M&A, Competition and Aviation Law. This move responds to ECIJA’s objective to consolidate its position as the largest Spanish firm in the Latin American market, as well as its commitment to offer a full service at an international level.

ECIJA incorporates in Brazil the partners Anna Luiza Pires and Alburquerque de Berredo, Cristiane Sanches, Rosana Pilon Muknicka, Fábio Figueira and Ivan Dilly, strengthening the Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Corporate/M&A and Competition areas and opening the Aeronautical Law area in the country.

According to Marcos Catão and Bruno Tocantins, partners of ECIJA Brazil, the integration of the new partners reflects ECIJA’s strategy to position itself as a leading firm in the country, covering all practice areas with the best professionals in the market.

On the other hand, Alvaro Quesada joins ECIJA as partner in Costa Rica to lead the Competition practice and open a new location.
